possibly Dutch circa 1760, with 13 3/4in. barrel, traces of a carved and moulded half sighting rib with an illegible signature, carved surround for fore-sight (missing), further carved floral detail and two inlaid poincons at breech (all worn) top-tang with sunken sighting groove, carved floral detail to the radiused lock, carved hammer and frizzen, lozenge-shaped walnut full stock with carved iron furniture including a long spurred butt-cap, chequered panel to the fore-end, carved bone fore-end tip, later wire barrel-band and channel for ramrod (missing), metal surfaces worn with loss to detail
